Gianfranco Pacchioni
Gianfranco Pacchioni (Milano, 1954) è un chimico e accademico italiano, attivo nel campo della chimica teorica e computazionale.
È membro dell'Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, dell'Academia Europæa (Londra), della European Academy of Sciences (Liegi), dell'Istituto Lombardo Accademia di Scienze e Lettere (Milano) e della fondazione Alexander von Humboldt. Nel 2016 è stato insignito della Medaglia Pascal per la Chimica da parte della European Academy of Sciences e nel 2017 ha ricevuto la Medaglia Pisani della Società Chimica Italiana. Dal 2013 al 2019 è stato prorettore per la Ricerca della Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca. E' Editor-in-Chief del Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter, pubblicato dall'Institute of Physics (IOP).
