Keely Stephens grew up reading her mom’s (not very spicy) Harlequin books on summer afternoons, at a time when she couldn’t imagine a happily ever after for a shy, nerdy introvert like her. Though it took Keely a while to find the courage (and time) to write her own happily-ever-after books (both spicy and not), she’s thrilled to have found how much she enjoys writing them. She hopes to always write strong, capable characters (of all sorts) that view sex (of all sorts) positively. Keely still reads romances on summer afternoons. Vicki Reed hails from the "Horse Capitol of the World", Lexington, Ky, where she lives with her husband and son. With a degree in Law Enforcement and a Masters in Criminal Justice, she has spent decades in the child welfare and juvenile justice fields. She combined her love for horse, nature, and kids in trouble to create her first novel, The Car Thief. Car Thief went on to win 2 national/international awards.
Her newest novel, Sleight of Hand, was released in March 2025. This book follows a troubled teen in foster care and the adults who rally to turn his life around.
