Gene Rowe
Gene Rowe is an academic/ consultant/ writer. Born in Bedford, England (1966: the Glorious Year!), he moved around a lot as a child thanks to his father's job in the United States Air Force (his father is a Mainer). He read psychology at Bristol University and subsequently completed a PhD at the Bristol Business School. After several academic postings, he set up his own consultancy (Gene Rowe Evaluations) in 2010. All was rosy until COVID, which killed his business. He now writes on a near-full-time basis. His first solo novel - The Greater Game (2022; White Cat Publications) - is a science fiction adventure with inadvertent Brexit allegories (though an even-handed take). He has recently remastered this, with the second edition for sale thr
