Studoval kulturologii na Filozofické fakultě UK v Praze a scenáristiku na pražské FAMU, kde navázal doktorským studiem.
Za básnickou prvotinu Strychnin a jiné básně (Paseka, 2005), kterou napsal jako dvacetiletý, mu byla udělena Cena Jiřího Ortena. V roce 2008 mu v nakladatelství Pistorius & Olšanská vyšel román s názvem Chyba o překupníkovi, který si do těla zasadí vzácnou rostlinu, aby ji mohl propašovat kupci. Následovala kniha povídek Zůstaňte s námi, vydaná v roce 2011, a po ní další povídková sbírka Mapa Anny v roce 2014.
Za povídkovou knihu Zůstaňte s námi obdržel cenu Magnesia Litera 2012 v kategorii prózy a v téže kategorii bodoval o čtyři roky později také s knihou Únava materiálu, inspirovanou osudy běženců.
Kurt Van Eeghem is a Belgian television and radio host, actor, writer, and columnist e is widely recognized for his multifaceted career in Belgian media and entertainment. Van Eeghem began his career in the 1970s as a radio presenter for the Flemish public broadcaster, BRT (now VRT). Over the years, he became a prominent figure in Belgian broadcasting, hosting various radio shows and later transitioning to television. His television work included hosting cultural programs, game shows, and presenting events such as the Eurovision Song Contest in 1987. Alara Adilow (1988) is een dichter van Somalische afkomst, woonachtig in Amsterdam. In 2019 haalde ze de finale van het NK Poetry Slam. Ze publiceerde onder andere in De Gids, Het liegend konijn, De Revisor en Tirade. Alara is geselecteerd voor de residentie voor transgender & queer personen van Museum Arnhem.
Ronelda Kamfer is an Afrikaans-speaking South African poet.
She grew up with her grandparents, farm workers in Grabouw, in a region known for its orchards and vineyards, located a good sixty kilometers from Cape Town and its townships. She then returned to her parents, who, when she was 13, settled in Eersterivier, a suburb which had many social problems - poverty, violence, drugs, gang warfare. This experience profoundly marked her life and her writing.
She gained a bachelor's degree in 1999; she held various jobs: waitress, office worker, nurse, while writing and pursuing studies at the University of the Western Cape, where she obtained a Master of Letters (Afrikaans and Dutch ).

Rebekka de Wit (1985) werkt als theatermaker. Haar afstudeervoorstelling 'Hoe dit het verhaal werd' werd bekroond op het Theater Aan Zee in Oostende. Met de voorstelling 'Stel je voor, ik zoek een staat' won ze de SABAM schrijfprijs. De voorstelling 'Heimat' werd in België geselecteerd voor Circuit x. In 2010 won ze de voorronde van Write Now in Antwerpen. Ze publiceerde vervolgens in o.a. 'DW en B' en 'Das Magazin' en trad op in de 33e editie van Geletterde Mensen van Behoud de Begeerte. In april 2019 verscheen Afhankelijkheidsverklaring.
