Gabriela Cantú Westendarp, Monterrey, 1972. Es Licenciada en Estudios Internacionales por la Universidad de Monterrey y Master en Ciencias con especialidad en Lengua y Literatura por la UANL. Ha sido productora de radio y televisión. Becaria del Centro de Escritores de Nuevo León en 2006. Obtuvo el Premio Nacional de Poesía Ramón López Velarde. Ha publicado los poemarios Naturaleza Muerta (UANL, 2011), El filo de la playa (Mantis Editores, 2007). El efecto (Conarte, 2006), Poemas al árbol (UANL, 2009) y Material Peligroso (Hiperión/UANL 2015). Su obra ha sido seleccionada en antologías en México y el extranjero.
