Fernando J. Múñez es escritor, guionista y director de cine. Licenciado en Filosofía por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y formado en Cinematografía en el RockPort Collegue International Workshop (Maine, EE.UU.), inicia su carrera como realizador en la publicidad. En 2002 funda Fénix Factory, empresa dedicada a la creación de libros para editoriales y desde entonces, cuenta personalmente con cerca de 40 publicaciones y con el desarrollo ininterrumpido de libros infantiles y juveniles (para sellos como Panini, Ediciones B, Robert Frederick, Ediciones Saldaña, NPD, Top That Publishing, etc). En 2005 funda la productora Fenix Imagine, con la que produce y dirige su primer largometraje «Las Nornas» que fue mostrado en el festival de Alican
