Esther Sanz

Nací hace treinta y dos años en L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona), y aunque actualmente vivo en Castelldefels con mi hija y mi marido, mi vida está estrechamente ligada a Bellvitge, un barrio de esta localidad conocido por sus numerosos bloques de hormigón, parecidos a fichas de dominó. Allí viví hasta hace un par de años, y crecí feliz con mis dos hermanas y una multitud de niños de nuestra edad con los que compartimos juegos, ropa, libros... Quizá por la monotonía de ese paisaje gris, el contraste del verde de mis veranos en Regumiel de la Sierra me marcó de un modo especial y me ha inspirado en mi primera novela.

Mary Elizabeth Braddon

Mary Elizabeth Braddon was a British Victorian era popular novelist. She was an extremely prolific writer, producing some 75 novels with very inventive plots. The most famous one is her first novel, Lady Audley's Secret (1862), which won her recognition and fortune as well.
