Vera Brosgol

Vera Brosgol was born in Moscow, Russia in 1984 and moved to the United States when she was five. She received a diploma in Classical Animation from Sheridan College, and currently works at Laika Inc. in Portland, Oregon drawing storyboards for feature animation.

She has done illustration work for clients such as Nickelodeon, Sony Computer Entertainment, and Simon & Schuster. Her first graphic novel, Anya's Ghost, was published in 2011 by First Second Books.

James Tynion IV

Prior to his first professional work, Tynion was a student of Scott Snyder's at Sarah Lawrence College. A few years later, he worked as for Vertigo as Fables editor Shelly Bond's intern. In late 2011, with DC deciding to give Batman (written by Snyder) a back up feature, Tynion was brought in by request of Snyder to script the back ups he had plotted. I started out as a colorist for Wildstorm Productions/DC Comics in La Jolla, CA. I now write and Illustrate full time in NH :) Some of the more recent comics I’ve worked on are Rocket Raccoon, Batman Beyond, and Scribblenauts. I’ve also been able to work with the toy company Cepia LLC on their DaGeDar and Zhu Zhu Pets lines.
