Eliana Matania Ruggiero è nata a Napoli nel 1967 in una famiglia di artisti, tra pittori, attori e musicisti, coltivando la sua passione per la scrittura da quando aveva undici anni.
Ha frequentato il Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Roma, lavorando per anni sia in ambito teatrale che cinematografico.
Dal 2003 vive a Milano e nel 2007 ha pubblicato il suo primo romanzo con la WLM Edizioni.
Nel 2018 si è appassionata al mondo dei romance MM (malexmale), prima leggendoli, poi scrivendoli, ispirandosi al suo percorso di vita che l’ha vista da sempre presente e attiva in prima persona nel mondo LGBTQIA+
