Edgar Cabanas

Edgar Cabanas is a Ph.D. in psychology by the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He currently is Research Fellow at Universidad Camilo José Cela (co-financed by the Community of Madrid, Spain [2017-T2/SOC-5414]).

He has been Postdoctoral Researcher (2014-2016) and Adjunct Researcher (2016-2018) at the Center for the History of Emotions (Max Planck Institute for Human Development), in Berlin. He has also been a visiting scholar in the Center for the Study of Rationality at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, in 2011 and 2013.

He is also co-editor of Routledge’s series on Therapeutic Culture since 2018, and researcher in several R&D International Projects.

Eva Illouz

Eva Illouz (Hebrew: אווה אילוז‎‎) (born April 30, 1961 in Fes, Morocco) is a professor of sociology at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Since October 2012 she has been President of Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. She is Bezalel's first woman president. Since 2015, Illouz has been a professor at Paris's School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (École des hautes études en sciences sociales).

Erich Scheurmann

Erich Scheurmann (* 24. November 1878 in Hamburg; † 4. Mai 1957 in Armsfeld) war ein deutscher Maler und Schriftsteller. Bekannt geworden ist er als Verfasser des Bestsellers Der Papalagi (1920).

Vigdis Hjorth

Vigdis Hjorth (born 1959) is a Norwegian novelist. She grew up in Oslo, and has studied philosophy, literature and political science.

In 1983, she published her first novel, the children's book "Pelle-Ragnar i den gule gården" for which she received Norsk kulturråd's debut award. Her first book for an adult audience was "Drama med Hilde" (1987). "Om bare" from 2001 is considered her most important novel, and a roman à clef.

Llucia Ramis Laloux (b. 1977) was born in Majorca, and moved to Barcelona when she was eighteen to study journalism at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
