Eddie Lancaster
I was born in one of the small towns where Birmingham collides with the Black Country, making me a ‘Yam Yam’. I write comedy novels aimed mainly at my own generation, for folks who enjoy a laugh and don’t take life too seriously; anyone from toilet readers to bored van drivers and those poor souls sitting in a doctors waiting room hoping it’s not bad news. Plots as thin as cigarette paper, held together by a thousand dad gags. Vintage humour from a time before everyone got offended by everything and the difference between a joke and an insult was the expression on the face that said it.
My influences are the ‘golden years’ of film and television - Bless This House, George and Mildred, Carry-On, Man About the House, and more recently, Still

‘Because people will want to know something about you before they lash out on buying one of your books.’
‘You think so, do you?’
‘Just do it, okay?’
‘So what do I tell them?’
‘For a start, you should mention that you’ve written four plays that were professionally produced and toured throughout the UK.’
‘Should I say anything about all the temp jobs I had, like working in the towels and linens stockroom at Debenhams or as a fitter’s mate in a perfume factory?’

Adrian Spalding
Finding the time to write has always been the challenge for me. The requirement to feed the family, pay the mortgage and work, all got in the way. I only found the time to write, when I began commuting each day between London and Kent. Thanks to the numerous and regular delays I encountered with South Eastern railways, I was able to actually settle down amongst my snoring fellow travellers to write fiction.

Back in the days when I had ‘real jobs’, I worked as a photographer, a journalist and a charity fundraiser, all giving me the opportunity to see first-hand the life that others lead, as well as regular press passes to Brands Hatch.
Now, a full time writer, living in Kent with my wife, I write both thriller mysteries and humorous detective -

Lizzy Bolan
Lizzy Bolan was born in Portsmouth, on the south coast of England. Despite living all her life close to the sea, she only discovered her love and passion for sailing, when she met her husband Rob in 2014. Lizzy was a School Business Manager, but in 2019, after many wonderful sailing holidays with Rob, they gave up their jobs and became full-time liveaboards on their Oceanis 36CC. During lockdown in Greece, in 2020, Lizzy joined a writers’ group. The help and encouragement from the other group members inspired Lizzy to begin writing her story, and since then, she has had two articles published in Yachting Monthly magazine. He has written several yet-to-be-released 'best sellers' and expects all his books will sell in their millions and be made into high-budget Hollywood blockbusters. He is prepared for disappointment however and has been since coming second in a literary competition with one entr -
