I have been an engineer, adventurer, anesthesiologist, international health leader, patient safety expert, campaigner for compassionate healthcare, and latterly a healer and trauma therapist working in my own clinic. My book 'TIME TO CARE' launched an international movement for compassionate healthcare and volunteers translated my book into Dutch, German and Hungarian, sparking movements in those countries. I am just finishing my memoir, which details my long journey from a heroic but detached doctor, to the compassionate healer I now am. My beliefs have radically changed and I now witness miracles of healing in my clinic every day. I
