David Lasky
Seattle artist David Lasky co-authored the graphic novel "Carter Family: Don’t Forget This Song," which won comics’ Eisner Award in 2013. He has been writing poetry in his spare time for over 20 years, and often combines art forms to make ‘poetry comics’. David has been a graphic novel instructor for 15 years, teaching to all age and skill levels, and is currently teaching Haiku Comics online.

William "Bill" Finger was an American comic strip and comic book writer best known as the uncredited co-creator, with Bob Kane, of the DC Comics character Batman, as well as the co-architect of the series' development. In later years, Kane acknowledged Finger as "a contributing force" in the character's creation.
