Sa kanyang paglaki, nakasanayan niya ang bahaan, mga palengkeng parating may murang seafood, at saka ang amoy ng Malabon na malansa (na siyang sabi naman ng mga hindi tagaroon). Siya ay kasalukuyang nakatira pa rin sa Malabon pero tinuturing niya din ang sarili bilang taga-Santa Rosa, Laguna.
