Christine Kabus

Escritora alemana nacida en Würzburg en 1964, Christine Kabus estudió Literatura e Historia en la Universidad de Múnich. Posteriormente, Kabus trabajó como asistente de dirección y directora teatral, además de como guionista para series de televisión.

Gran amante de los paisajes nórdicos gracias a las obras de Astrid Lindgren y Lagerlöf Selma, Kabus decidió aprender noruego y viajar en numerosas ocasiones al norte de Europa.

Montgomery was born at Clifton, Prince Edward Island, Nov. 30, 1874. She came to live at Leaskdale, north of Uxbridge Ontario, after her wedding with Rev. Ewen Macdonald on July 11, 1911. She had three children and wrote close to a dozen books while she was living in the Leaskdale Manse before the family moved to Norval, Ontario in 1926.
