Christine Benvenuto grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and graduated from Sarah Lawrence College. In the interests of earning a living she has polished paperweights, taught journalism and edited and ghost-written highly complex works on science and technology that she did not understand in the least. Her fiction and essays have appeared in many publications. She is the author of SHIKSA: THE GENTILE WOMAN IN THE JEWISH WORLD and the forthcoming SEX CHANGES.
