Chris Campbell

Prior to earning her BA in English from UMass Boston, Chris Campbell began her music journalism career in 1995, when her first Phish concert review was published in print.

In 1997, Chris was approached by Relix Magazine's managing editor, Dean Budnick, to become a regular contributor to the not-yet-launched Jambands.com, which she did, as time and inspiration allowed. Chris later expanded her writing contributions to Jambase.com and the Live Music Blog.

Writing projects aside, Chris has worked in a variety of music industry roles, from radio intern, to load-in/load-out crew, to street team member, to merch booth attendant, to non-profit co-founder, to band publicist.
