Charles Lewinsky

Lewinsky studierte Germanistik und Theaterwissenschaft in Zürich und Berlin (ohne Abschluss). Danach arbeitete er als Regieassistent bei Fritz Kortner und anschliessend als Dramaturg und Regisseur an verschiedenen Bühnen sowie als Redakteur und Ressortleiter der Sendung Wort-Unterhaltung des Schweizer Fernsehens. 1984 veröffentlichte er zusammen mit Doris Morf sein erstes Buch Hitler auf dem Rütli. Es folgten weitere Bücher und Produktionen beim Schweizer Fernsehen, ARD und ZDF. In der Schweizer Öffentlichkeit wurde Lewinsky Mitte der 90er Jahre als Autor der Sitcom Fascht e Familie bekannt; später folgte Fertig Lustig. 2001 erhielt er den Schillerpreis der Zürcher Kantonalbank für seinen Roman Johannistag. Ze studeerde aan twee kunstacademies en een schrijversschool.

Nino Haratischwili

Nino Haratischwili (Georgian: ნინო ხარატიშვილი) is a Georgian-born German novelist, playwright, and theater director.

Haratischwili was born and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia, where she attended a German-language school. To escape the political and social chaos that followed the collapse of the Soviet Union, she moved to Germany for two years in the early 1990s with her mother, where she attended the seventh and the eighth grade of school. Her family returned to Georgia afterwards. Haratischwili later moved to Germany again in order to attend drama school in Hamburg. She became a German citizen in 2012.
