Gena Webb’s passion has always been writing, but through the years it took second place to her other endeavor—serving her country. Born in California, she enlisted in the Air Force a few years after high school graduation. Her first assignment was as a computer operator in Omaha, Nebraska.
Eventually, she ended up in San Antonio, Texas, where she retired after serving more than 23 years. Eight months later, she got bored being a bum and went back to the Air Force where she served in a civilian capacity for another 19-plus years.

Lazarus has been publishing technical articles and opinion pieces in various magazines since 1989. “The Con” was his first novel, drawing from his international business travels across five continents. A native of Detroit and graduate from the University of Michigan, he now lives in San Diego with his wife, three children, and occasionally a cat. Mr. Lazarus is a certified sailor, advanced scuba diver, and “Six Sigma” blackbelt. He is also Staff Officer, Publications, for the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Division 114-01-01.
Carolyn started her life in the West Midlands moving to rural Gloucestershire at the age of six.
Always keen to help others she decided to train as a Physiotherapist working in the NHS until leaving to start a family of her own.
Although Carolyn enjoyed creative pastimes and excelled at the piano at school, writing was something she only discovered during the Covid pandemic when she discovered an opportunity to contribute to a multi author book. This sparked a passion to turn the taboos and traumas she had faced as a young woman into talking points. The From A Place Called series of memoirs was born.
