Jillian Tamaki
Jillian Tamaki is a cartoonist and illustrator living in Toronto. A professional artist since 2003, she has worked for publications around the world and taught extensively in New York at the undergraduate and graduate level. She is the co-creator, with her cousin Mariko Tamaki, of Skim and This One Summer, the latter of which won a Caldecott Honor in 2015. She is the author of the graphic novels SuperMutant Magic Academy, originally a serialized webcomic, and Boundless, a collection of short comic stories for adults. David R. Flores
David R. Flores is a writer-illustrator originally from New York. His debut novel, "Control; Alt; Delete: Dr. Stundel's Program To Reboot Your Dangerous Teen" was adapted from his award-winning screenplay. Along with co-creating "The InSpectres," David created and illustrated "Dead Future King," published by Golden Apple Books. Fumio was born in Tokyo and grew up with the Manga and Anime cultures of the 1970’s and 80’s. Always fond of drawing, at school his exercise books were always full of cartoon sketches. In 1991 he moved to the UK and has been living on the British soil since.
He studied BA Illustration at Glasgow School of Art and obtained a Master degree in Communication Design from Royal College of Art in London. Under the guidance of some great tutors he decided to pursue his career in sequential imagery/design and is eager to extend its potentials into a wider perspective.
