Carme Riera
Carme Riera pasó su infancia y adolescencia en Palma de Mallorca, hasta que en 1965 se fue a estudiar filología en la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, por la que se licenció en 1970. Después se convirtió en catedrática de literatura española de su alma máter; es especialista en el siglo de oro y dirige también talleres de escritura.
Publicó su primer libro, la recopilación de cuentos Te deix, amor, la mar com a penyora, en 1975 (el relato que le da título había ganado, en 1974 el premio Recull), seguido dos años después por otro del mismo género; su primera novela, Una primavera per a Domenico Guarini, recibió el Premio Prudenci Bertrana 1980 y salió a la venta al año siguiente.

Najat El Hachmi

Amélie Nothomb, born Fabienne Claire Nothomb, was born in Etterbeek, Belgium on 9 July 1966, to Belgian diplomats. Although Nothomb claims to have been born in Japan, she actually began living in Japan at the age of two until she was five years old.
