Britta Sabbag, geboren 1978 in Osnabrück, studierte Sprachwissenschaften, Psychologie und Pädagogik. Mit ihrem Roman-Debüt „Pinguinwetter“ landete sie 2012 direkt einen Spiegel-Bestseller. Viele weitere Romane, Jugend-, Kinder- und Bilderbücher folgten. Die Bestseller-Reihe um „Die kleine Hummel Bommel“ ist mittlerweile ein Kinderbuch-Klassiker.
