Brenda Drake
Brenda Drake, the youngest of three children, grew up an Air Force brat and the continual new kid at school. Her fondest memories growing up is of her eccentric, Irish grandmother’s animated tales, which gave her a strong love for storytelling. So it was only fitting that she would choose to write stories with a bend toward the fantastical. When Brenda’s not writing or doing the social media thing, she’s haunting libraries, bookstores, and coffee shops or reading someplace quiet and not at all exotic (much to her disappointment).

Cathy Cassidy
I was born in 1962 in Coventry (scarily ancient, I know). I wrote my first picture book for my little brother when I was eight or nine. I loved making comics, too - pages and pages of picture stories, features and competitions.

I went to Art College in Liverpool, then got a job as fiction editor on the fab and legendary Jackie magazine.
I have worked as agony aunt on Shout magazine and also as an art teacher in the local primary & secondary schools, as well as as a freelance illustrator. These days, I am a full-time author.
I love my family, I love living in the middle of nowhere and I love my work. Of all my jobs, writing has to be the best - it's the perfect excuse to daydream, after all! -

Zeba Shahnaz
Zeba Shahnaz writes fantasy full of political intrigue, twisted romance, and a healthy dose of existential angst. A proud Pakistani American, she translated her love of storytelling into a graduate degree analyzing national identity, culture, and cinema in South Asia. She grew up in New Jersey, which she has yet to fully escape (though not because of a time loop). MIDNIGHT STRIKES is her debut novel.

Sylvain Neuvel
Sylvain Neuvel dropped out of high school at age 15. Along the way, he has been a journalist, worked in soil decontamination, sold ice cream in California, and peddled furniture across Canada. He received a Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Chicago. He taught linguistics in India, and worked as a software engineer in Montreal. He is also a certified translator, though he wishes he were an astronaut. He likes to tinker, dabbles in robotics and is somewhat obsessed with Halloween. He absolutely loves toys; his girlfriend would have him believe that he has too many, so he writes about aliens and giant robots as a blatant excuse to build action figures (for his son, of course).

Sean Easley
Sean Easley is the author of the middle grade fantasy adventure series THE HOTEL BETWEEN from Simon & Schuster BFYR.

Sean was born and raised in North Texas, but he's never owned a pair of cowboy boots or a ten-gallon hat. He can definitely tell you where to find those things, though.
Today Sean writes books full-time in his little office in Texas, where he lives with his wife and son. There may or may not be two dogs and a cat involved.
When he's not writing world-spanning adventure stories, Sean can be found checking out fictitious worlds in books, TV, and video games. He gets bored with only one world to live in, and he's glad that so many others have shared theirs with him so he can stop falling out of his chair from boredom. -
Emily McKay
I write the kinds of books I want to read. Fast-paced books with lots of world-building, snarky heroines, and swoony heroes. I love story, pop culture, gossip, and baked goods. I’m a modern-day hippy and certified LEGO nerd.

I live in the Austin, Texas hill country, with my geeky husband and two extremely geeky kids. We have dogs, chickens, cats, and more LEGOs than should be allowed by law. Oh, and I stress bake. So if my characters talk about food a lot, that’s why. -
Marnie Blue
Marnie hates having her picture taken; thus she looks like a deer in the headlights in most photos.

When she's not hiding from the camera, she's cooking keto meals for her law enforcement officer husband and three kids, or scaling the mountain of laundry her family continually creates.
Basically, she's a regular trapped-at-home mom, except she's got other people living in her head, demanding she let them out and tell their stories. This is where her enjoyment of the snarky, sarcastic '50's housewife memes began; she only wishes she could be so glamorous when acting as a slave to her home.
Marnie enjoys lonely walks on the RI beaches (when she can get to them--it's a Rhode Island thing) , gardening (but not weeding) and coffee. Lots and -
