Dear reader family and fellow authors,
I did not intend to publish. I went on Inkitt to write for exposure therapy. As a childhood assault survivor, I ended up carrying a lot of trauma within me, and it built up over time.
Since my POTS and hEDS flared a handful of years ago, and I needed a spinal patch, my depression worsened a hundredfold. I wrote for the first time a year and a half ago and found relief there. Readers came flooding in, became family and encouraged me to publish.
It was shocking but deeply welcomed.
That's how I got here. I'm an accidental author. Since losing my job, I'm hoping that publishing will eventually pay my rent, buy me food and pay my medical bills because I have not only fallen in love with storytelling, it's beco
