Arnold S. Leese
Dr. Arnold Spencer Leese British veterinarian and minor politician.
When he qualified as a veterinarian, he moved to British India where he specialized in camels and was highly respected because of his work. He wrote a book that was to remain a standard work in the field for nearly 50 years.
As an animal lover he was a staunch opponent of kosher slaughter and all other forms of animal cruelty.
During World War I he served on the Western Front and in the Middle East.
In 1924 he joined the British Fascists and was elected as a councilor in Stamford, Lincolnshire. In 1933 he founded the Imperial Fascist League. Which soon was pushed into obscurity mainly by Oswald Mosley`s BUF. Leese accused Mosley of being a kosher fascist and of being soft on
