Catherine Devore Johnson was born in Chicago and raised in Texas, with a short sojourn on the East Coast for college. A former attorney, she now works as a writer and editor for a children’s hospital. She lives in Houston, Texas and when she isn’t writing or haunting one of her favorite coffee houses (or, even better, writing in one of her favorite coffee houses), Catherine loves spending time with her husband and two children.

Am scris de când mă știu. Pe pereți, pe hârtie, în desfășurătorul de jurnal, pe blog. Acum, la „bătrânețe”, m-am apucat de scris povești.
Nici studiile, nici funcția nu mă recomandau pentru asta – sunt absolventă de Psihologie și am lucrat ca prezentator de știri din 2002 până în 2018. Am început cu un jurnal în engleză, am terminat cu ediții speciale și jurnale de weekend.
Îmi scriu cărțile în engleză, cu viteza medie de două pagini per pahar de vin. De fapt, sunt povești care se scriu singure; doar că personajele au nevoie de o dactilografă care să le spună istoria. Car
