Anne Osborne
I was born in 1966 in the Midlands town of Leicester.
As a teenager, I developed an interested in Animal Rights, vegetarianism, and veganism.
In 1986, I adopted a vegan diet, purely for ethical reasons, and I was amazed at the immediate improvement in my health upon changing my diet.
This set me off on a journey to examine the relationship between what we eat and drink, and how we feel.
I tried several types of vegan diet over the next few years, then in 1990 I attended a talk in my home town of Leicester on Fruitarianism by local lad David Shelley.
Shelley had written a book on the Fruit Diet, and he was also a great advert for the diet with his glowing skin and boundless energy.
I wanted to try the Fruit Diet, and so I transitioned to the diet
