Amelia Watchman
While travelling extensively throughout her twenties Amelia Watchman always had a romcom to hand. After seeing interesting characters and scenarios in her own life Amelia has put pen to paper (well, fingers to keyboard) to write her debut novel Love, Hate and Indifference. She's now busily working on her second novel while also juggling the hungry demands of a toddler and a baby.

Belle co-wrote her first romantic comedy in 2019 whilst on maternity leave. In 2020 she was made redundant and in-between parenting and tearing her hair out, she has created another five stand-alone chick lit books, all set in the fictional seaside location of Coolsbay, based in the South-West of England.

Maxine Morrey
Maxine has wanted to be a writer for as long as she can remember and wrote her first (very short) book for school when she was ten. Coming in first, she won a handful of book tokens – perfect for a bookworm!

As years went by, she continued to write, but ‘normal’ work often got in the way. She has written articles on a variety of subjects, as well as a book on Brighton for a Local History publisher. However, novels are what she loves writing the most. After self publishing her first novel when a contract fell through, thanks to the recession, she continued to look for opportunities.
In August 2015, she won Harper Collins/Carina UK’s ‘Write Christmas’ competition with her romantic comedy, ‘Winter’s Fairytale’.

At the same time, I had one disastrous relationship after another but at least I maintained my independence throughout. I’ve never been one to just accept the status quo; I’m always looking for new adventures.
I started writing in my forties and soon realised that being at my keyboard, creating characters and storylines, was where I became truly alive and life became thrilling and fun.
Luckily, by then I had had finally met the right man, now my husband, Tony. We moved to Suffolk and
