Auf ihrer Suche nach interlingualen und politisch bewussten literarischen Formen verbindet Karina Schreiben mit Übersetzung. Sie ist Empfängerin mehrerer DÜF-Radial-Stipendien für Übersetzer*innen. Ihre Texte wurden in den Literaturzeitschriften Neznanie, m ZIN und Soft Eis Magazine veröffentlicht.
H Nigel Thomas was born in St Vincent. He attended university in Montreal and for ten years was a teacher with the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal. He is now professor of literature at Laval University. His published works include the novel Spirits in the Dark, which was short-listed for the 1994 Quebec Writers’ Federation Hugh MacLennan Fiction Award; How Loud Can the Village Cock Crow, short fiction; and Moving through Darkness, poetry.
Ellen Chang-Richardson is an award-winning poet of Taiwanese and Chinese Cambodian descent. The author/co-author of five poetry chapbooks, their multi-genre writing has appeared in Room magazine, Vallum Contemporary, Augur Magazine, The Fiddlehead, Anti-Heroin Chic, and more. They sit on the editorial boards of long con magazine and Room, and currently live on the traditional unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabeg (Ottawa, Ontario) where they co-curate Riverbed Reading Series and write collaboratively as part of the poetry collective VII. Their debut collection, Blood Belies, is out with Buckrider Books (an imprint of Wolsak & Wynn) in Spring 2024.

Annick MacAskill was the winner of a 2022 Governor General’s Literary Award for her poetry collection Shadow Blight. In the fall of 2024, she published her fourth full-length poetry book, Votive. Her previous collections include Murmurations, No Meeting Without Body, and two chapbooks—Brotherly Love: Poems of Sappho and Charaxos and five from hem. MacAskill is a member of Room Magazine’s Growing Room Collective and publisher of micropress Opaat Press. She lives in Kjipuktuk/Halifax, NS.
