After a decade of devouring historical romance novels, Alyssa Martin was inspired to write her own. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education Studies and English Literature, a Master of Arts in English Literature, and is currently pursuing a PhD from the University of Winchester. She is particularly interested in 18th and 19th century literature and enjoys bringing it to life again in her novels. Her dream has always been to waltz with a rake, so she lives vicariously through her characters.
