Dr Alexander Cummins is a consultant, poet, diviner and historian. He approaches ritual, divination, and sorcery both as a long-term practitioner and a historian of early modern magic. Dr Cummins has worked as a professional diviner for over a decade: in cafés and bars, at gatherings and festivals, and of course on the internet. He also provides training, workshops, and coaching in many aspects of magical theory and practice. Originally from the Midlands in the UK, Al now lives in Brooklyn with his wife and their vast expanse of cat.

Prior to his first professional work, Tynion was a student of Scott Snyder's at Sarah Lawrence College. A few years later, he worked as for Vertigo as Fables editor Shelly Bond's intern. In late 2011, with DC deciding to give Batman (written by Snyder) a back up feature, Tynion was brought in by request of Snyder to script the back ups he had plotted. Mike Mignola was born September 16, 1960 in Berkeley, California and grew up in nearby Oakland.
