Ahmet Şerif İzgören
1965 yılında İzmir'de doğdu. 1983 yılında Kuleli Askeri Lisesi'ni, 1987'de Hacettepe Üniversitesi İngiliz Dilbilimi Bölümü'nü bitirdi. Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri'nde üsteğmen rütbesine kadar görev yaptı.
1991 yılında ordudan istifa etti. Aynı yıl Ankara Üniversitesi TÖMER Bursa Şubesi'ni kurdu ve bu şubenin müdürü olarak dört yıl görev yaptı. Bu dönemde, Bursa'nın ilk kültür merkezini açtı. Türkiye'nin tek çeviri dergisini çıkarttı. On altı tiyatro, müzik, resim kulübünün fahri başkanlığını yaptı.
