Abdurezak Hivzi Bjelevac
Abdurezak Hifzi Bjelevac (Abdurezak Hivzi Bjelevac) bošnjački književnik, publicist i prevoditelj (Mostar, 8. VI. 1886 – Zagreb, 25. II. 1972). Školovao se u Carigradu. Surađivao u mnogim jugoslavenskim listovima, uređivao sarajevski Novi vijek (1920) i Behar (1921). Od 1941. djelovao u Zagrebu. Najčitaniji bošnjački pisac između dvaju svjetskih ratova. Pisao je pripovijetke, drame i romane o životu bosanskohercegovačkih muslimana. Likovi su mu nerijetko skloni mistici i romantičarskomu zanosu. Svjedočio je o napuštanju naslijeđenih običaja i sukobu istočnog i zapadnog pogleda na svijet. Prevodio s turskog i francuskog jezika.
