Smalltown Hoosier by birth, central-Illinoisan till college, then some semiotics at Brown, an Orwellian stint in Paris, a Ph.D. in Medieval Lit from Duke, and finally New York's Chinatown. And now that i've hauled all my books to my 6th-floor walk-up, i'm staying put.
Susan Dormady Eisenberg is a Maryland writer who specializes in backstage novels about the performing arts. During the first part of her career, she served as a publicist/marketeer for Goodspeed Opera House, Syracuse Stage, and the Joffrey Ballet/New York.
Susan has written profiles of opera singers, actors, directors, and authors for "Classical Singer," "Opera News," and "Huffington Post." She has also contributed articles to the "Hartford Courant" and the "Albany Times Union." She’s drafting her third novel about the life and times of American icon Annie Oakley She lives in Baltimore with her husband, a senior care executive, and a felina diva named Scout. She has a beautiful adult daughter who works in theater and couldn't be prouder.
Joan Reardon is the author of four previous books, including M.F.K. Fisher, Julia Child, and Alice Waters, which was nominated for a Julia Child Award. She lives in Lake Forest, Illinois.
Jessica Chiccehitto Hindman has “performed” on PBS, QVC, and at concert halls worldwide. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, McSweeney's, Brevity, and Hippocampus. She holds a BA in Middle Eastern studies and an MFA in creative nonfiction writing from Columbia University, and a PhD in English from the University of North Texas. She teaches creative writing at Northern Kentucky University and lives in Newport, Kentucky.
